Location
At first I believed that Alviston would be a suitable place to film as it is close to my school so easy access to filming equipment as well as having a park and many roads that are quiet however when I was trying to film here the roads and park are too nice and do not look like they are deserted so there for I decided to change locations to seven beach this location is more run down and also has I old amusement park that is deserted it also has a beach which doesn't look very nice so there for looks like it used to be played on but not anymore.

For my research I looked firstly at the film I am legend here is a extract from the trailer
As you can see it's is just a small part of the trailer this is because the other parts do not go with what I am looking for in my Foundation Production however the part as you can see he is on his own we can see this because the streets are empty and building have been overgrown by plants this is what i am looking for in my foundation production.

Target Audience
From my research i found out that my potential target audience for my film would be adults looking at a mans journey through a deserted country the find some one else left alive. However mature teenagers could enjoy the film as well.
Preliminary Task
For my preliminary task i was asked to video a person entering a room and starting a conversation with another person, using the 180 degree rule.
What did i learn from the task?
From my Preliminary task I learnt that my foundation production will need to be well lighted because in my preliminary task you could barley to the faces of the actors. My foundation production will also need good quality sound as in my preliminary task the sound was also hard to hear. I also Learnt that i should try to keep acting to a minimal as the amateur acting makes the video less professional. I also need to keep the camera on a tripod or flat surface because it's was slightly angled in my preliminary task.
Overall I learnt alot from my preliminary task of what i learnt the mean things i need to look out for in my foundation production are Sound and video quality, lighting and keeping the camera straight.
